Audio Technician

To manage and maintain the audio equipment owned and operated by a busy broadcast facilities company.

The Complete Camera Company are a Warwick based broadcast tech company supplying camera, audio, recording equipment and crews to primarily UK based production companies. We specialise in fixed rig filming, we design and build audio systems at base and on location that consists of multiple personal mics all based on an RF infrastructure alongside atmospheric microphones to deliver on our technical requirements that is all designed by our lead engineers. This job also involves maintaining and testing of all of The CCC’s equipment and a keen interest in other technical aspects of broadcast will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to learn and have an interest in all technical aspects of television making.

Based in Warwick with location work anywhere in the world from time to time. The right candidate should be happy to work weekends and bank holidays as and when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Location work

  • Rigging of audio systems

  • Maintenance of technical equipment

  • Management and administration of the workshop

  • Prepping and packing of equipment prior to projects starting

  • Management of kit logistics

  • Management of repairs

  • Asset registering and control

  • Checking in and out of equipment

  • Management of equipment out on locations across the UK and potentially abroad

 

The Candidate:

It would be ideal if the candidate has some prior knowledge of, or experience working with, either Zaxcom or Sennheiser transmitters, some RF location experience, knowledge of Behringer X32’s and have a good base knowledge of audio engineering, embedding and routing etc. We seek a friendly, cheerful and adaptable person who will be a team player. They must be professional and presentable at all times and help The CCC expand its brand and build upon our increasingly great reputation.

This role is ideal for a candidate that wants to expand their knowledge and gain experience in one of the biggest growth areas of television and who enjoys a real challenge. Some training will be given by our lead audio engineers on location.

 

Qualifications/experience that will help the applicant:

  • Broadcast Technical qualifications from a recognised college.

  • Audio location experience.

  • Experience working in a warehouse/workshop environment.

  • Experience in a hire company.

  • Full UK driving licence.

 

£ negotiable per annum. Potential for overtime.
