The DirectOut ANDIAMO 2.XT is part of the ANDIAMO family of powerful, high-end AD/DA MADI converters. “Big brother” to the successful ANDIAMO 2, ANDIAMO 2.XT offers a higher level of integration and flexibility thanks to the addition of digital AES inputs and outputs.
ANDIAMO 2.XT is thus a 32-channel AES and MADI A/D D/A converter with 32 analogue and 16 AES3 I/Os that delivers exceptional sound quality.
The device is housed in a compact 2U 19” casing for efficient use of rack space.
ANDIAMO 2.XT is also available in an SRC version with sample rate converters at the AES3 inputs switchable in groups of eight channels to handle asynchronous signals.
An internal routing matrix enables any input port to be connected to any output port for simultaneous conversion between analogue, AES and MADI. Converter sensitivity can be switched from high to low (hi/lo) – discrete for A/D and D/A.
The device may be operated locally or remotely via the ANDIAMO Remote software. Supported remote methods are USB, D.O.NET, ‘MIDI over MADI’ and ‘Serial over MADI’.
